PropEquity: Delhi-NCR housing sales slip 12% to 8,090 units in July-September

Data analytics firm PropEquity has tracked 8,090 home sales in Delhi-NCR during the July to September 2026 quarter. That compares with 9,230 units a year earlier, a fall of 12%.

The slowdown is not limited to our region. Across the nine major cities PropEquity follows, sales eased 6% to 1,03,170 units from 1,09,420 units. Founder and CEO Samir Jasuja noted that tier 1 cities continue to hover around the one lakh mark each quarter for both supply and sales.

What does this mean for you? A quieter quarter usually gives serious buyers more room to negotiate on payment plans, floor choice and add-ons. It is a good time to take your time on site visits, check RERA details carefully and compare offers across a few shortlisted projects.
