Namo Bharat corridor via Gurugram to run on to Behror in Rajasthan

The Namo Bharat rapid rail line being built from Sarai Kale Khan to Bawal via Gurugram is set to go further. The extension to Behror has been cleared, adding a roughly 36 km stretch, 11 km in Haryana and 25 km in Rajasthan, with four new stations and a travel time of about 24 minutes for that segment. The added cost is around Rs 8,000 crore, and financial approval came in July 2026.

Gurugram MP Rao Inderjit Singh credited sustained effort for restoring the original reach of the line, which had earlier been cut back to Dharuhera and then Bawal. By 2041 the Gurugram-Alwar corridor is projected to carry 15.1 lakh commuters a day.

For buyers, a longer high-speed rail spine strengthens the case for homes near its Gurugram stations and along the NH-48 belt towards Manesar and Bawal.
