M3M and Smartworld's Bansal family plans Rs 10,000 crore spend in FY27

The Bansal family, which runs M3M India and Smartworld Developers, has set out an investment plan of about Rs 10,000 crore for FY27, covering construction and strategic land buys. Their combined portfolio now carries a gross development value of Rs 1,28,731 crore, backed by a land bank of more than 3,000 acres across NCR, of which only around 26% has been developed so far.

The group says it has delivered over 14,000 homes across 34 projects, has 57.2 million sq ft under development in 40 projects, and expects to hand over about 1,000 more homes within three months. It describes itself as net debt free and fully promoter owned.

For buyers in an M3M or Smartworld project, heavy spending on construction is reassuring. For new buyers, the large untapped land bank points to a steady flow of launches ahead.
