Colliers: Delhi-NCR leases 8.3 million sq ft of office space in Jan-Sep 2026

A new Colliers India report shows Delhi-NCR absorbed 8.3 million sq ft of Grade A office space between January and September 2026. Nationally, leasing across the top seven cities rose 7% to 54.4 million sq ft, and the July to September quarter alone hit 18.7 million sq ft, a record for any third quarter.

Flexible workspaces were a big driver, with flex leasing up 37% to 12.6 million sq ft across the country. Colliers expects full-year leasing to land between 75 and 80 million sq ft.

Why should a homebuyer care about offices? Every new office floor in Gurugram brings professionals who need homes nearby. Steady leasing supports rental demand and long-term values in residential pockets close to major business districts.
