DLF Garden City is a plotted residential township by DLF at Purseni on Raebareli Road (NH-24B), on the southern side of Lucknow in Mohanlalganj tehsil. It was DLF's first residential project in the city and was marketed in the early 2010s as an integrated township, winning the Realty Plus 'Integrated Township of the Year - North India' award in 2012.
The township was sold as freehold residential plots. Listings from the launch period give plot sizes of roughly 249 to 500 sq yd (250, 300, 400 and 500 sq yd in the price list), arranged in four blocks marked A to D on the revised 2012 layout plan. The same layout sets aside land for group housing, commercial plots, schools, a health facility, a club and community centre, a recreation zone and a pollution-free industrial pocket.

The revised layout (dated 7 December 2012) shows four residential plotted blocks, A to D, laid out along 18 m to 30 m internal roads with green strips between rows of plots. Group housing, commercial, educational, health, recreation and pollution-free industry parcels sit around the plotted area, with the township fronting the Lucknow - Raebareli highway.

Garden City lies at Purseni along the Lucknow - Raebareli national highway (NH-24B), south of the city beyond SGPGI. The layout plan shows forest land along its eastern edge and a 75 m road widening on the highway frontage.
Launch-period material put SGPGI about 5 km away, the Amar Shaheed Path ring road about 7 km, the airport about 12 km and Hazratganj about 17.5 km. It is a peripheral location, so daily commutes to central Lucknow are longer than from the inner suburbs.

An archived 2013 price list showed base rates of ₹16,640 to ₹18,140 per sq yd before location charges and EDC/IDC, but that is a launch-era figure and today's plots trade on the resale market, so value has to be judged against current local deals. The plotted phase predates RERA, so buyers should verify title, conveyance and completion of services plot by plot. It suits those willing to build their own home and wait for the area around the NH-24B corridor to mature.
Best suited to: Buyers who want a DLF plot to build on in south Lucknow and can hold for the long term
