Buying in New Gurgaon
New Gurgaon is the name people use for the sectors in the 70s, 80s and 90s along NH-48 and towards the KMP Expressway. It is where the city has been growing outwards, and where many families now look when they want a bigger home without paying central Gurgaon prices. Large townships, wide sector roads and plenty of open green space give it a calmer, more spread-out feel than the older parts of town.
The main reason to buy here is space for the money. A budget that gets you a compact apartment on Golf Course Road can buy a much larger home in New Gurgaon, often in a well-planned gated project with a big clubhouse and landscaped grounds. Good access to NH-48, the KMP Expressway and the industrial hubs of Manesar makes it practical for people working along the highway. The trade-off is distance. Cyber City and Golf Course Road are a longer drive, and some neighbourhoods are still filling in with shops, schools and hospitals.
When comparing projects here, look at how established the specific sector is today rather than what is promised for the future. Check the internal roads, water supply and power, and how long the drive is to the places you go every day. Look at the developer's delivery record and the RERA registration, and visit a finished project nearby to see how it has aged. For many families, especially those with children who want room to play, New Gurgaon offers a genuinely comfortable way of living at a sensible price.
